I am a Shakespeare Professor at a Community College in Berkeley California.
I can offer you advice on any aspect of Shakespeare that you may need — and if you need something I don't know, I'll look it up and get back to you. Are you or your child or boy/girlfriend (etc.) writing an essay on Shakespeare? I can talk you through writing the outline for the essay. Have you seen a performance of a Shakespeare play that you didn't understand? Will you attend a Summer Shakespeare Festival soon, but are afraid that there will be something you won't understand? Maybe you would like me just to talk to you about what you will see (without giving away any endings!) and prepare you to enjoy it? If you will be acting in a Shakespeare play, do you need someone to coach you on the language or background or give feedback on your oral delivery? All this and more can I offer you regarding Shakespeare, as well as any of the poets who lived in his day, or whose writing may remind you of Shakespeare.
